Aromatherapy Massage

This is the practical, ‘hands-on’ study section for aromatherapy body massage. The aromatherapy massage treatment includes much of what is learned in the body massage section with a strong emphasis on:

  • Energetic factors
  • Transference of energy between therapist and client
  • The healing process
  • The individually blended massage oil: therapeutic properties
  • Psychological effect of chosen essential oils on client

The aromatherapy massage includes a combination of techniques, integrated into a full body sequence.

More pressure * selected areas of the body, body stretches, simple joint manipulation, energy work, rhythmic movements, science of breath, lymphatic massage and face & head massage are all part of the aromatherapy massage training.

The Aromatherapy massage is designed to:

Special Aromatherapy Massage for Pregnancy

Training includes special gentle techniques, relaxation of tense areas of body, massage to benefit mother and child and post-pregnancy massage.

  • Home massage practice. Minimum number of practice 100 hours

Assignments

IFA Examinations

  • IFA practical examinations: 2 hours
